Verifying your identity helps us protect your personal information and make sure that we’re reporting the correct information to the credit reference agencies.
We need to make sure that the information we hold belongs to you before we can report your account activity. This helps ensure that your credit history is linked to the correct person.
How can I verify my identity?
There are three ways you can verify your identity with Pave:
1. Connect your credit file to Pave
You can connect your credit file directly through the Pave app. This allows us to verify your identity using the information held by the credit reference agencies.
2. Connect your bank account
You can connect a bank account that matches the name registered on your Pave account.
3. Submit a government-issued document
You can submit a valid government-issued identity document. The details on the document must match the information on your Pave account, including your:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Current address
When do I need to verify my identity?
You must complete identity verification within 14 days of signing up to Pave.
If you don't verify your identity within this time, your Pave account will automatically be cancelled.

If you haven't completed verification, you'll find more information and instructions in the email we sent you and on the Home page of the Pave app.
Choose the verification method that works best for you and follow the instructions in the app to complete the process.
