Connecting your bank account allows Pave to monitor and notify you about bills that may impact your credit score.
A key part of your credit score is payment history, which looks at whether you pay important bills on time. Missed payments can harm your score across all major Credit Reference Agencies (CRAs). Our alerts, called Bills Alerts, help you avoid that.
How does Bills Alerts work?
- We identify your recurring bills and subscriptions
Using secure Open Banking access, we review your account history to detect your recurring bills, such as council tax, utilities, phone, and software subscriptions.
- We send smart alerts
You’ll receive an alert when your balance is low or a key bill is due, giving you time to take action and avoid late payments.
Which bank account should I connect to Pave?
You can connect up to 5 accounts to the Pave app.
To get the most out of Bills Alerts, we recommend linking the account(s) where you:
- Get paid (e.g. salary, benefits)
- Pay important bills (e.g. phone, utilities, council tax)
Is it safe to connect my bank?
Yes. Pave uses Open Banking technology provided by our trusted third party partner, TrueLayer. Your data is encrypted, read-only, and handled with strict privacy and security standards.
If you need help connecting your account, contact support and we’ll be happy to guide you.
